Beyond Canvas Hashing: Hardware-Level Device Attestation via Crystal Oscillator Drift and Micro-Architecture Profiling
Traditional device fingerprinting relies on superficial browser APIs trivially spoofed by anti-detect toolkits. We present a hardware-level attestation methodology leveraging crystal oscillator picosecond drift, WASM ALU/FPU throughput ratios, and GPU shader timing to achieve deterministic device identity that persists across browser resets, VPN tunnels, and privacy-mode sessions.
